Wacky Wednesday: Five Urban Myths

It’s that time again!  I’m going to throw some urban myths at you today just for fun. It’s your job to decide if they are TRUTH or MYTH.  You don’t have to post your answers but, if you’d like to, feel free to post them today.  Tomorrow, I’ll post the answers.

FIVE URBAN MYTHS…TRUTH OR MYTH?

1.  At the request of a state representative, the Texas legislature unwittingly passed a resolution honoring Albert DeSalvo – a man better known as the Boston Strangler.

2.  Child star Dana Plato of Diff’rent Strokes fame died of a drug overdose in 1999.

3.  Ostriches hide by burying their heads in the sand.

4.  Lions can’t purr like housecats can.

5.  A dozen Burger King execs suffered first and second degree burns while walking over hot coals.

    Well let’s see, I know number 2 is truth, the poor thing.
    Ok, I’m just going to guess on the rest.

    I’m pretty sure number 2 is truth for Dana Plato.

    As for the others, no idea.
