Chosen Series Book One
BY STACY JONES
One minute Lily is trying, and failing, to run her grandmother’s farm—her last remaining connection to her family. The next, she wakes to find herself in a cold, sterile cage surrounded by monsters, with no memory of how she got there. Accidentally abducted by alien poachers, unsure if she will live or die, she is dreading the worst. What she doesn’t expect is for her captors to dump her on an alien planet, leaving her to fend for herself. Now, she must fight to survive the planet… or die trying.
Frrar, Tor, and Arruk have been Searching endlessly for a mate to belong to, someone to finally accept them, but they are losing hope. The time of cleansing, when the great waters drown the land, draws near. They are on the verge of abandoning their search and fleeing the forest when they spot a strange, tiny, two-armed female. They are immediately drawn to her, fascinated by her differences, but they must act fast to save her life, and their own, from the coming flood.
By the time they broke apart Lily was flushed, Frrar’s tail was dancing wildly on the nest beside him, and they were both breathing heavily. She smiled when she saw his dazed expression, feeling surprisingly turned on from just a kiss.
“Kiss,” she whispered, again touching her fingertips to her now swollen lips then his.
“Kisss,” he repeated in his deep voice, sweeping his dark grey tongue over his lower lip where she had bitten him.
Stacy is the wife of a loving, bearded husband and mother to a (very) spirited child. She is also the harried keeper of two dogs, two cats, two goats, two ducks, and twenty-three yard dinosaurs (chickens) each with their own name ranging in absurdity from Mephistopheles to Bjorn. She is deathly allergic to sharing, has nearly uncontrollable addictions to soft blankets, knives, chocolate, and coffee, and greatly dislikes excessive socializing. She can usually be found dancing like a loon with her child, lost in a book, or frantically typing away on her laptop on her porch swing, trying to get the scenes written before they disappear as quickly as they came.
She has an obsession with all things science fiction, romance, and adventure, and enjoys writing love stories of all shapes and sizes.
