DIVING IN DEEP
A Bay State University Novel Book Two
BY KATIE HOLLAND
Blurb
Karma is a free spirit that loves to have a good time. Bodie is a player that doesn’t do commitment. So one night together shouldn’t be a big deal, right? Maybe not. There was a chemistry between them that neither one wants to admit, so they do their best to be friends as if that night never happened.
When Karma meets Anthony, she thinks she’s finally found someone worth her time. He’s rich, charming and treats her like a princess, but her friends don’t seem to see what she does. The longer they’re together, the more Bodie dislikes Anthony.
Bodie would like nothing more than to see them break up, but he wants Karma to be happy, so he does everything in his power to make that happen. But it isn’t until Karma is in real trouble that she realizes how Bodie truly feels about her.
Can Karma and Bodie admit what that night really meant to them? Or are they destined to go their separate ways?

I hoped what I was about to do was the right course of action. “Um no. Oh my God! What happened last night? We didn’t have sex, did we? The last thing I remember was dancing at that party,” The panic in my voice wasn’t all fake. I didn’t like the lie I was telling. “I guess I drank more than I realized.”
I watched several emotions cross his face. I was lying my ass off, but I hoped he didn’t see through that. I was trying to make this situation better, not worse.
“Uh, no, we didn’t have sex,” he finally said. “You wanted to go back to your dorm, but Kayleigh and Major were going to be there, so I decided to bring you here. I slept on the couch.”
The usually confident and sure of himself guy I knew looked almost defeated. I instantly felt guilty for making him lie, but I started this, so I was going to have to keep up my part of it.
