I knew they were right. This was my chance to win Andy back. We both had made some huge mistakes, but I didn’t want to continue making them. I believed that we were supposed to be together, and I wasn’t going to let him go without fighting for him. I was honest with all the words that I said. I felt something was special with Andy, and I didn’t want to just let that go. I had to make a bold move to get him back, and he was worth the risk.
I felt safe in his arms, and I closed my eyes. I felt myself drifting to the sounds of Cody’s light snores. The last thought I had before I couldn’t think anymore was how lucky I was to feel something real. I didn’t know what would happen moving forward with our relationship, but I would never forget this night.
