Stuck in a place where everyone can read his mind, and with a contract signed in blood, Finn realizes he made a huge mistake. With the help of a repentant demon, he devises a plan during that moment between life and death when his thoughts are his alone. He thinks he has plenty of time to figure things out, until Father B. L. Zeebub throws a kink in his plan. Staring down an eternity in hell, Finn must find the loophole he needs to get out of his contract before it’s too late.

Interview

Character: Finn Jansens

What one word best describes you?

Determined

What are you passionate about these days?

Finding a loophole to get out of a contract I foolishly and rashly signed.

What is something people would be surprised to know about you?

I’m not as meek as I seem. Kindness matters, but boundaries protect your happiness.

You just won a huge lottery what is the first thing you’d buy?

I’d buy a princess castle complete with a horse drawn carriage for Charlotte, and a concert hall for Mia.

Who should play you in a film?

I’m a very emotional man. There are several actors out there that could handle the scope of my character. Joseph Gordon Levitt, Tom Hardy,  and Orlando Bloom are a few that come to mind.

Do you play any sports?

I am more of a geek than an athlete. I prefer to be sitting behind a screen making beautiful graphics and brilliant ads for others rather than playing with a ball.

What would we find under your bed?

A few socks and dust bunnies. Mia is a meticulous house keeper.

What is something you want people to know about you?

I will stop at nothing to secure my family’s safety.

Tell us about your greatest achievement.

Work: Securing a graphics contract with a well known multimedia company.

Personal: Getting Mia to marry me.

What was the scariest moment of your life?

When they rushed Mia away for emergency surgery during childbirth. I really believed I was going to lose my girls.

Is there a piece of advice that you have received that has really stuck with you? If so, what was it?

Be careful what you wish for.

If you could apologize to someone in your past, what would you say?

“I’m sorry.” That’s what I would say. I can’t undo it, I can’t take it back, but I can be sincere in regretting how it affected them. I will never apologize for signing the contract even though it hurt so many of my loved ones. They are still alive, and their pain is proof of their living.
