It’s Fall in Redbury Junction and the townsfolk are celebrating its arrival. When Rory Amour offers to hold The Masked Halloween Ball at her home,no one expected that a masked killer was roaming about until the body of a dead party guest turned up stabbed. The killer could be anyone since everyone’s faces were concealed.

When the victim, Tabitha Hill, turns out to be from the neighboring town of Woodtower, Detective Reinfeld, Deputy Sheila, Rory, and Daisy know they have their work cut out for them. The people of Woodtower are unfamiliar to them. They don’t know who to question first.

Luckily, the victim had a business card on her for Designs by Delilah, a shop in Woodtower. When the group from Redbury Junction visited Delilah, they found out Tabitha was her best friend.

When Delilah joins the investigation, she helps uncover new clues based on her knowledge of the people in her and their interactions with Tabitha.

Misleading information, lies, and the arrival of a new individual causes the investigation to stagnate and the group to become frustrated. Two questions plague them. Who is the person behind the mask? Will the cloak of anonymity the killer is relying on continue to keep them safe or will it fall, thus unmasking the guilty?

Halloween time usually is full of tricks and treats but in the case of The Masked Murder Halloween Ball, there is only tricks. Bad tricks at that.

In the middle of what is supposed to be a fun Halloween Ball for the townsfolk of Redbury Junction, Hummingbird Hollow, and Woodtower a dead body is found.

Due to the masks worn by the guests and the lights going out, plunging the house into darkness the killer can easily move about the event, escaping notice.

The crime solving quartet of Detective Reinfeld, Deputy Sheila, Rory, and Daisy will have to don their investigative garb to track down the killer in order to get justice for the victim. Will they be able to find the person behind the mask or will the killer manage to escape detection?

Find out the process the quartet uses in their investigation. Will this Halloween end in a sour note or will sweet justice prevail?
