I’ve been a big fan of twisted fairy tales for years, ever since I was a little girl. And when I grew up I loved ONCE UPON A TIME, THE HUNTSMAN, ENCHANTED, and all the clever Disney twists. When I started to write my own stories, naturally I wanted to do the same thing, only in my own dark and twisty way. And so, the series HUNTED BY THE FAERIE QUEEN was born. Because of course, I didn’t just want fairy tales, I also wanted sexy fae, like those hot elves from the LORD OF THE RINGS movies. Don’t you want Aragon and Legolas for your heroes? Mmm-hm. Of course you do.
While my stories are based on the fairy tales you love: Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, and Sleeping Beauty, they are uniquely my own, with deep plots running through the books, and twists you’ll never expect. Open the pages and you’ll discover poisoned apples, old women leading young girls astray, betrayal, murder, and love, but you’ll also find magical swords, smart-ass pucas, and a great big dash of adventure and suspense. Jessica Ash loves dragons, magic and mystery, and is lucky enough to write about all three while consuming boatloads of chocolate.
