Clayton tried to control his breathing as he walked across the roof to reach Mary. She sat about four feet from the edge with her legs drawn up and one arm wrapped around her knees. She had beautiful legs. Long, thick, and strong. Mary stood five-foot-six in her bare feet, the top of her head coming to just below his chin. A flash of memory swept over him. His senior prom. She had been a junior and had come with the president of the math club. The boy had been a bully, and Clayton had hated that she’d had to go with him. He’d been dating another girl at the time, whose name he barely remembered. He did remember that her hair had been bleached blond and so brittle he had almost been afraid to touch it, just like her body. She’d been way too thin. No boobs and no butt.

Nothing like Mary. Mary was a big girl with more curves than a man could count—but would surely die happy trying. He licked his lips because sweet heaven above, did he want to try.

“Clayton, what’s her status?”

Logan’s voice brought him back from fantasy land. Without consciously doing so, he slipped into his work role. “She’s wet, that’s for sure. Contusions and lacerations on her knees and legs.”

As he spoke, he gently pulled her legs out straight, running his hands up and around every inch of her flesh. He made himself stop before he crossed the line of decency as his hands approached the juncture of her thighs. Oh, how he wanted to continue along that path of temptation.
