For twenty- plus years, all I’ve known was the STARR’s Black Ghosts. A branch that doesn’t exist on paper. I ate, drank, and breathed it. If I wasn’t sleeping, I was on a mission or training.
When I was growing up there were twenty-four of us to graduate. Now only six remain, two teams. I am the last female. Graystarr has been gone for two years now. She was either captured and exiled or dead. Death is the preferred outcome for failure to complete a mission.
Exile… STARR cuts all ties. After all, the Black Ghosts don’t exist. You have no one to turn to. No money and no identity. You are alone. You can never return. If you talk about the Black Ghosts no one will believe you, and your life is forfeit. They will send a cleaner to remove you.
I have no name, only a codename, Darkstarr. I was orphaned at three and raised in the program. I know nothing of my family, not even my birth name. All Black Ghosts are orphanages with no past or future.
STARR is all I know.
All I need… or so I thought.

I am a mother of three adult children. A wife with two dog who are my kids now. My husband and I moved to a homestead in the middle of nowhere in 2022. So I have time on my hands especially during bad weather. I fell in love with paranormal romance after multiple back surgeries. Then reverse harem paranormal romance. I occasionally read contemporary but prefer the fantasy side of romance. So I am jumping in to ‘All Things Destiny and Romance’. So join me on this adventure and let’s see how far we can go.
