She was walking and walking and couldn’t find her way home. She looked one way looking for Stuart. The other looking for Melody. She thought neither and in front of her, she frantically look for a dog. She knew somehow that most of the time when she was walking there was a dog of one type or another in front of her. Now there was nothing– no family no dog nothing she looked at her hands they were old and wrinkled surely not her own. What was happening? Where was she?
Jamie Glaser is a local author and Poppy is her first published book. She also have five poems in the charity anthology Catstruck. She has been writing poetry most of her adult life and just began writing books a few years ago. In her free time she enjoys reading just about anything being outdoors and being around animals. She lives in St Louis Missouri with her cat, Audrey.

Hits a little close to home. It would probably one of those books that provides an emotional roller coaster of a ride. I’ll add it to my ‘Most Wanted’ pile.
