Excerpts

Brogen-

‘It’s the feeling to bury yourself in someone so badly, you can’t see where you end and they begin.’

Samantha-

“Samantha?”

I open my eyes and look into his blue depths.

“Can I kiss you?” His voice is a whisper but wishing upon this question.

“Yes.” I whisper back.

Meet Author Noelle Rahn-Johnson…

Noelle currently lives in Northern Minnesota with her husband, their four children, two dogs, a few pet rats, a handful of goldfish, and a very spoiled cat. She spends most of her days puttering away on the keyboard with a breathtaking view of a lake in her backyard as a source of tranquil inspiration. She and her husband were high school sweethearts and celebrated their 25th year of wedded bliss in August of 2017. She enjoys fishing, reading, shopping, writing, and spending time with her family and new grandbaby.

Noelle’s writing career debuted as an indie author publishing her ‘In Pieces’, Book One, in the ‘Pieces Trilogy’, a heterosexual contemporary romance. She also has released book 2, ‘Shattered Pieces’ and book 3 ‘Broken Pieces’. She published ‘In Pieces’ originally in 2016.

She wrote her first M/M romance, ‘Returning for Ryder’, in September 2016 with a publisher. Originally intended as a standalone novel, it seems Noelle’s fans had other ideas and she penned a second, called ‘Taking a Chance’ and a third, ‘Keelin’s Return’- in what is now to become ‘The Returning Series’. This rest of this series is M/M and M/M/F. She is no longer signed with this publisher and has now independently published this book and the rest of this series.

Naughty Night Press LLC signed Noelle for her MF Shifter Paranormal Romance, ‘Remote in the Shadows’, released in April of 2017. And released her YA/college love triangle themed new book, ‘Lies’ in January 2018. ‘Keelin’s Return’ was released in June 2018 and ‘Taking a Chance’ was published January 2018. Currently, she is no longer signed with NNP or any other publishing company and chooses to list her books indie.

She also has now made ‘Remote in the Shadows’ into a series, so be looking out down the near future for those. Noelle is in the process of writing her first Vampire book, titled ‘Secrets Past’ and plans on releasing that in December 2018. She has many more book ideas rutting around in her brain for the near future.

Noelle not only thrives on her love of writing, weaving worlds full of passion and romance for her readers to crawl into, but also the excitement of her readers when they know she’s getting close to another release date. She plans to release many more books in the coming years for their enjoyment.

Be warned, no matter the genre of her work, Noelle’s books will all contain explicit language and smexy romance scenes! 18+ audiences only!

BANANA-CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS
[Yield: 12 Muffins]

Note: Original is different than this, but this is what I changed it to.

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup butter, room temp.
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium)
3 Tablespoons milk
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 salt ( i don’t put this in)
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (i don’t add this in)

Preheat over to 350 degrees. Spray muffin pans or line with muffin papers. In a Mixing bowl-sugar, egg and butter and cream together. In a separate bowl combine mashed bananas and milk. (Sometimes I leave bananas a little on the chunky side.) Stir in dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt into banana mixture.

** Do not use a mixer, the batter becomes too thick and muffins get hard after cooking.

Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.

Bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the muffin is clean. Remove from oven and let cool in pan for 10 minutes before flipping out.

Note: I bake muffins at the 350 degrees the whole time. I use a bit more bananas and chips. And I pop them suckers out as soon as they are done. Who wouldn’t eat a hot chocolate muffin?

    1. Thanks so much, Lori! The muffins are something I’ve had ‘forever’ and make them when I can make 4-5 batches at a time. They never last.
