Karen’s Killer Fixin’s #Cookies: “Can Do” Peanut Butter Cookies from Karen’s Kitchen

It’s time for Karen’s Killer Fixin’s! Over the years, I’ve filled two 4-inch, 3-ring binders with my own creations as well as recipes my family and friends were willing to share with me. I simply love to cook and want to share that love with my readers. So every Friday, I share one recipe I think you and your family might enjoy. It might be a main course recipe from my own kitchen or a guest author favorite. It could be a cookie or baked item. Candy. Salads. Whatever strikes the eye and fancy…which today is “CAN DO” PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES!

Long ago, and very far awa–wait, I’m aging myself with this one. When I was in high school, there was this recipe called “Can Do”…and I can’t remember the rest of the name. But you could make several different kinds of cookies from this one basic recipe. I have to admit that I only made the peanut butter cookies so that’s what you’re getting here. The thing I love about this recipe is that it makes so many. Six dozen!

I hope you enjoy today’s Killer Fixin’s. Happy eating!

  1. These sound tasty! I have to admit that I laugh at the number of cookies recipes say they’ll make. I tend to make them larger and have fewer when I’m done.

    1. Me, too, with the number. It may not make 6 dozen, since I also make larger cookies. But it does make a lot more than the normal recipes. Enjoy…and Merry Christmas, Glenda!

  2. I’m finding me converting to bar cookies my favorite cookies….can’t stand long enough to bake as usual any more…still tasty! 😉
    Thanks, Karen!
