It’s time for Karen’s Killer Fixin’s! Over the years, I’ve filled two 4-inch, 3-ring binders with my own creations as well as recipes my family and friends were willing to share with me. I simply love to cook and want to share that love with my readers. So every Friday, I share one recipe I think you and your family might enjoy. It might be a main course recipe from my own kitchen or a guest author favorite. It could be a cookie or baked item. Candy. Salads. Whatever strikes the eye and fancy…which today is APPLE NUT BREAD!
Since it is apple season, we’re all jumping on the apple bandwagon. LOL If nothing else, we’re looking for new ways to add apples to our dishes. I love this dessert bread because it’s so easy to make and satisfying to eat with a cup of coffee. Hmmm, Pumpkin Spice Coffee and Apple Nut Bread! I think I need to run to the kitchen to make this one right now.
I hope you enjoy today’s Killer Fixin’s. Happy eating!

It’s really delicious! Happy eating!
I will be making this bread! Yum!!
It’s very much like having coffee cake you can put in your toaster. Enjoy!
Nothing better than fresh apple recipes… Thanks, Karen 😊
I think so, too. I’m always on a lookout for fresh fruit recipes. Enjoy!
Thanks Karen, I love making apple bread. We were at an apple orchard yesterday, so this is timely.
As I mentioned in the post, we’re all jumping on fruit (especially apple) season. I hope you enjoy this version of the apple bread!
I just made zucchini/carrot bread yesterday and am having a slice with my Pumpkin Latte now! I’ll add your recipe to my recipe book and try it next week.
Happy eating,
I love zucchini bread, too, Jean. Haven’t had a slice yet this year. Never got zucchini from my plant. I hope you enjoy the apple bread. Hmmm, now I need to get a pumpkin latte! LOL
Oh, yum!
