FIERY HORCHATA

Thanks to Karen for inviting me to share a recipe. This is a boozy one so it’s for adults only much like the steamy romance I write.

Buckle up because it’s fiery. Karen asked for something inspired by my recent release, Flash Point.

If you take a fire elemental, Latinx influence, Los Angeles vibes, witchy goodness, and add a splash of paranormal romance, you might get: FIERY HORCHATA.

Ingredients:

3 oz. RumChata
1 oz. vanilla vodka
1/2 oz. Fireball Whiskey
Cinnamon Sugar for rimming the glass

Wet the rim of a low ball glass with a tiny bit of water, then roll the rim in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Mix the liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake and strain into the rimmed glass.

Enjoy!

Okay, I cheated and went with a shortcut instead of making classic horchata, but yum…this one hits the spot, and the main character of Flash Point would love it to celebrate banishing demons, saving the city, and finding true love with her best friend.
