The facility is filled with the ghosts of a prominent family’s tragic past. Unspeakable secrets become the dark beating heart beneath the modern veneer of the health care center. Some spirits come to work. Some come to be healed. Some come to die. When a team of paranormal investigators is called to uncover the cause of a patient’s inexplicable demise, their search will lead them to the most hellish collection of entities they’ve ever faced.

Ghost Horror

Excerpt
The hall was gloomy—somehow the power had gone out. The only light came from the occasional flashes of the storm outside and the soft glow of her phone.
Kit felt disoriented and afraid. She was trying to find Lukens, but the old building she was in looked familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. It was a relic from a bygone era, with its demi-pillars and arched hallway ceilings… She tried to focus on the fresco painted above her head.
At first, it had appeared as a scene of golden-haired angels cavorting on fluffy sunlit clouds, but the longer she had stared above, the more it seemed to change and darken until the clouds were a roiling brown and the angelic beings had morphed into Pan-like creatures with horns, hooves and lightning bolts in their hands.
As she inched down the hallway, a figure appeared at the far end. Even before he spoke, she recognized him.
“Brandon!” she cried, running toward him. She wanted to throw her arms around him and admit she couldn’t find Luke, but as she got closer, he held his hand out flat, as though to ward her off.
“Don’t come any closer, Kit,” he said in a tortured voice. “They want both of us, but I told them they couldn’t have you!”
Kit stopped about four feet from her brother.
“Bran, what are you talking about? We have to find Luke!” she shouted over the storm. The wind and rain had picked up, and she could hardly hear herself. “You have to come with me,” she implored, but Bran shook his head.
“I can’t… I’ve been marked…” he said, looking at her with glassy eyes. “Just turn around and never look back… I saw them, Kit… I saw them and look what they did, Kit! Just look at what they’ve done to me!”
